Hi, My name is Sue Saltalamacchia aka “Salty”
Being a pet care provider has been a dream of mine since I can remember. I have taken care of neighbors, friends and family pets for many years. I have worked in the service industry my entire life so I understand that customer service and providing a great value is very important to my clients. I graduated from The University of Maine with a degree in Business Administration. I also had a wonderful career for 10 years at Walt Disney World in Florida, which I was presented with a life time achievement award for outstanding customer service.
My passion for animals was apparent at a very young age. We always had quite an assortment of pets in my home and still do to this day. Now I am making it my full time career. No matter where we have lived we have been the household for which the animals come and play. I am so excited to finally have this opportunity to live "my dream" by surrounding myself with pets to love and care for.
I hope that you give me and my crew the opportunity to care for your pet(s) in your home or in mine.
Sara is my neighbors and will be a freshman at Point Loma Nasarin University in the Fall. Sara is has been pet sitting for me from the beginning and will be helping me on her school breaks. She and her family just adopted Happy from E.A.P.L. a few months ago.
Ella has been working for me for the past 2 summers. She is 14 and loves animals. She has 2 dogs of her own rescue dogs, Sampson and Bailey, both labradors. Ella plays LaCrosse and is in the 8th grade. She welcomes any chance to meet, walk and care for any animals.
Isaac, Audrey, Elliot & Asher
Isaac, 14, Audrey, 12, Elliot, 10, and Asher, 5, are homeschooled kiddos with a passion for animals. After going out on his first job for Salty Dog Pet Services, Elliot said that he might want to be a pet sitter when he grows up. Besides helping to care for their two goofy and loveable rescue pups and a snuggly and enormous rescue cat, the kiddos love the chance to meet, snuggle, play with, walk, and care for all other animals. Their trusty chauffeur (and mom) DeNae goes out to jobs with them. They may be the youngest and newest team members, but they have hearts for animals and are hard workers!
